Cure Bladder Infections

May 23, 2017

This information is found in Suzanne Somers book, "BREAKTHROUGH", on pages 22-24.

"About 90% of all bladder infections are caused by the bacteria called E. coli. This bacteria lives in our colon and helps us digest and absorb nutrients from our food.

But when this bacteria gets in the wrong place, meaning the bladder, it sticks to the inside of our bladder and gives us an infection which can be hard to control. E. coli loves sugar, especially the natural sugar D-mannose . D-mannose is a safe, simple sugar that is sold in health food stores.

Women are much more likely to get bladder infections than men.

The treatment is to take 3 to 5 grams of the D-mannose, and only a small amount of this is metabolized in our system so the rest ends up in our bladder. When the E. coli bacteria see the D-mannose coming into the bladder they detach themselves from the little bit of D-mannose that is naturally in the walls of the bladder and they re-attach themselves on to the larger pieces of D-mannose that are coming into the bladder from the ureters. The E. coli then float around in the bladder eating the sweet D-mannose until the next time the person empties their bladder, and the infection is literally rinsed away.

Two important things:

1) The person needs to take the 3 to 5 grams of D-mannose every three to four hours while awake until the symptoms are totally gone, which can take a few hours or one or two days.

2) D-mannose eliminates bladder infections in 90% of all cases. So it doesn't work for all people. If it doesn't work for you it's best to get an antibiotic treatment."
